Your Engagement Shoot

This is a great way for me to get to know you and vice-versa. It’s almost more about this than the photos but of course you walk away with a great set of shots as well!

Wedding Album

I feel passionately about photos not staying on a computer for years on end. A photo remains just an image until you see it in its printed form. I laboriously make an annual album of my personal family photos and never regret the investment. It’s a far nicer way to look through your images. For wedding albums I use a UK based supplier who are known for their quality, style and timeless beauty.

To secure me for your wedding date I ask for a 20% booking fee. This is non refundable. The remaining amount is due 4 weeks before the wedding.

There is no limit to the amount of photos I take. An average amount of photos in your final collection would be around 400 – 500, but can range from around 300-800. Most important though, is the quality of the photographs rather than the quantity that matter. The RAW files are not available.

Depending on the time of year you will get your photos within 2-4 weeks. As far as the album goes, I will send you a collection of low-res images to choose from and depending on when you get your selection back to me, the album can be delivered within 8-12 weeks. They are manufactured in Italy so this has to be taken into account.

I have a simple contract which ensures there is no misunderstanding between the couple and photographer on the agreed terms and conditions. I recommend you take out wedding insurance and have written contracts with all major parties/suppliers. I have professional indemnity and liability insurance.

Legally, the person who took the photo owns the copyright. You have license to print the images and use them personally amongst family and friends. You cannot modify them (like instagram filters), or send them to your suppliers for them to use for promotion without permission.

I have never missed a wedding. In the unlikely event that illness, an unforeseen incident, or any other reason prevents myself from attending, every attempt will be made to supply you with a suitable replacement photographer. I am part of a vast network of wedding photographers of whom I can call on if the need arises. I will try my utmost to find another photographer, so will do my hardest to not leave you high and dry. All monies would be refunded 100%.
