Approach and Style
I have been lucky enough to shoot in the most incredible places and work with the nicest of couples. From remote beaches on the Scilly Isles, to hand fasting in Devon, up to the Lochs of Scotland and the big skies of Northumberland… overseas to rustic farmhouse weddings in France and Italy and of course closer to home with barn, manor house and pub and town hall weddings in London, Brighton, Sussex and its surrounding counties
MY APPROACH & STYLE
My style of documentary wedding photography ensures I capture the atmosphere, the energy, the details and all the emotions which make your wedding uniquely yours. It’s less of the awkward posing, staging and formulaic images and more of the real, the fun and things you won’t get to see. The less we pose the more real moments are revealed. And it’s this I want to capture.
I am constantly observing and emotionally connected on the day in order to capture all the moments that matter. It’s not unusual for me to smile, laugh and well up behind the camera. In short, I care, and this is how I capture those moments – merging in as though I am one of the guests.
For me, a good photograph is when light, composition and timing all come together at the right moment, and the resulting image has the ability to evoke emotion and feeling. My aim is to produce core memories for you and bring out your personalities whether you’re shy, loud, happy go lucky or nervous. I’ve got you covered!
When I turn up on the day I take time to chat and be friendly to everyone. I will be capturing everything as it naturally unfolds so you don’t need to worry. In fact best ignore me most of the time! The only time I will take you away is for 10-15 minutes for some natural shots of you both walking and interacting. Everyone always says it’s actually a nice breather and some time to chat and absorb some of the fast-paced day. In short, I capture your day without intervention or direction. Going with the natural flow of the day to reveal genuine moments.

from the moment we met her, we knew this was going to be something special. Her presence, joy and talent were such a comfort and we felt sad when she left! She captured the magic of the day so naturally and made everyone feel beautiful. Thank you for being majestic, thank you for the memories, thank you for being you.
