Tuscany wedding

There’s not much to dislike about photographing a Tuscany wedding. And this was a stunning day with beautiful people. Kathryn and Chris wanted a small intimate ceremony amid a picturesque setting followed by a lively party. Cortona town hall and a villa overlooking Lake Trasimeno provided the perfect venue for both. This was an awesome day and they most definitely brought meaning to the word partying. There’s nothing better than seeing close family and friends party until the small hours.

Having a Tuscany wedding is only going to lend itself to awesome photography and awesome light. It also means only those nearest and dearest to you will be with you on your special day. This adds to the charm. Kathryn and her family hired a wonderful villa for their large family and close friends. It was the perfect relaxed morning with no stress and everyone super chilled in warm weather. An alfresco breakfast made for the perfect start to the day before everyone got ready at an easy pace European style! We then travelled to Cortona Town Hall for the ceremony before having masses of choice for their couple shoot. This included a sunflower field, rustic lanes and a lavender garden. Then there was the party to end all parties back at the villa. Just bloody awesome!
