Sussex vineyard wedding

“We couldn’t be happier with the incredible work Pippa Heath did as our wedding photographer! Despite only booking her for a short amount of time, she completely exceeded all expectations. Pippa has an amazing eye for capturing beautiful candid moments, and every photo she took is filled with such emotion, perfectly reflecting the joy and love of the day. Thank you for your professionalism, skill, and for delivering above and beyond with such a limited time frame. We highly recommend Pippa Heath to anyone looking for a photographer who will truly capture the magic of their wedding day.”

For a picturesque reception venue then look no further than this Sussex vineyard wedding. The Ridgeview Wine Estate is a glorious venue nestled in the South Downs near Ditchling. The views from the restaurant, roof terrace and alfresco drinking area are beautiful and you’ll feel a million miles away from Brighton which is only an half an hour drive.

Edie and Lloyd chose to have their legal ceremony at Brighton town hall with close friends and family. They then arranged for a London bus to transport all their friends out to the vineyard. Everyone was greeted with live music, sparking wine from the wine estate and, thankfully, some sunshine.

Personal celebration

Having got the legals out of the way, Edie and Lloyd put together a bespoke and person ceremony for their wider friends. After exchanging their own words to each other, friends recited some fantastic readings before guests continued to enjoy the celebrations outside.

There are numerous places to capture some relaxed couple portraits with the vineyards themselves sitting beside a natural woodland. It’s a chilled and charming place for a reception and lends itself to those looking for a relaxed but stylish vibe for their special day. And of course, perfect for those wine connoisseurs!
