Brighton engagement shoot
“We were lucky enough to have Pippa photograph me and my partner for our engagement shoot. Pippa made us both feel super relaxed and comfortable. She was kind and attentive and really easy to talk to. The pictures are absolutely stunning and she got them back to us so quickly. Pippa thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon, we had an amazing time!”
The sun shone for this gorgeous and fun Brighton engagement shoot. Although technically this couple were already married. Frankie and Adam decided to marry Vegas style earlier in the year, just the two of them. But they also wanted to celebrate with family and friends back in the UK. They therefore wanted a Brighton engagement shoot (where Frankie grew up) before tying the knot (again!) in London.
Brighton walkabout
Starting by the main pier on a super sunny September day, we walked long admiring the mill pond sea. Something I really value as a photographer is the experience the couple have with you. If you’re not all having fun or feeling relaxed, this will be reflected in the photos. It’s important to build up a rapport quickly with a couple especially in this sort of situation with an hour or so with people you have never met before. Judging by the google review they left (see above) I achieved exactly what I want for a client experience.
After having fun walking along west from the main pier, Frankie and Adam continued to show their relaxed form cracking out some dance moves. The Brighton Bandstand is the best place for this – a place where you can also legally get married. We finished off by the iconic west pier with it’s imperious towers providing the perfect background for some epic shots. It’s a spot I love to bring couples whether it’s on their pre wedding shoot or actual wedding day if you’re getting married in town.
