Wedding photography in Brighton

“If you’re considering booking Pippa, do it!! She is absolutely amazing and we could not fault her. The photos we received were stunning and we received them promptly. So many of our wedding guests commented on how fantastic Pippa was on the day. She was unobtrusive yet managed to capture the most wonderful photos. From the moment we spoke to Pippa we felt totally at ease and confident that she understood what we wanted. Looking through our photos now, we absolutely made the right decision and have the most beautiful images capturing our day. Thank you again Pippa!”

Wedding photography in Brighton is never dull and on this windy Saturday in June Emily and John had no choice but to embrace the elements. From a photographers point of view this makes the photos even more dramatic and being down by the iconic West Pier for photos was epic.

Emily is from Brighton and knew she wanted to return to get married here. They chose Brighton Town Hall for their ceremony which was held in the Regency Room. We then went on a walkabout through the south lanes and onto the seafront. Our final pitstop was Lewes Crescent for some photos against the Georgian architecture.

Reception

St Augustine’s in Brighton is a great alternative wedding reception venue in this fab city of ours. There are so many possibilities when it comes to using this converted church as a wedding reception and ceremony venue. They are able to host small and intimate wedding parties cosily and large nuptial ceremonies up to 500 people in their main event space. They also have built in lighting and sound equipment for any music you’d like to play.

Church vibes

While Emily and John just used this space for wedding reception (which makes a stunning backdrop for speeches and a first dance) it’s also amazing for a wedding ceremony. Surrounded by stained glass windows and centred around a stunning altar, this is the perfect space to say your vows. It can hold up to 120 people seated or 200 people standing.
