Beautiful wedding at Chelsea Old Town Hall

“Pippa was wonderful to have at our wedding! From start to finish, her communication was outstanding, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. She is incredibly friendly, approachable, and always made us feel comfortable. Pippa even recommended the best confetti for our photos! The platform she uses to share her photos is sleek, professional, and user-friendly, making it easy to view, download, and share our images with family and friends.Pippa perfectly captured all the special moments of our big day. Every photo beautifully tells the story of our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Best of all, the turnaround time was quick, and we absolutely love the final results! Thank you!”

Oh goodness… photographing at this venue never ever gets repetitive. Each time I come here and meet a new couple joined by their special people it makes me so happy. Madi and Jovie were no exception. Despite living in Cornwall, they travelled up to London where they used to live, to capture the unique vibes of this registry office. Cue another beautiful wedding at Chelsea Old Town Hall.

Ceremony

Madi and Jovie did a wonderful job of making their service bespoke to them with lots of personal touches, and stacks of emotion. Madi walked into the Rosetti room at Chelsea Old Town Hall alongside her father. This is one of my favourite rooms at the registry office. Tastefully decorated with gorgeous fresh flowers and a maximum of 12 guests, it makes for a peaceful and calm room to get married.

Madi stole the show with an amazing reading she put together herself. Taking lyrics from many of their favourite songs she wrote them into a wonderful poem. The bride and groom have known each other since they were four years old but only got together four years ago. And as the groom’s mother said “about time!”

Walkabout

One of my favourite things about photographing here is firstly – and most obviously – the infamous steps outside the town hall. Many a famous face has been spotted walking into a shower of confetti. This time it was Madi and Jovie’s turn and they were joined at the bottom by their wedding party. Never before during group shots has a stranger walked passed and stopped to give the entire wedding party a hug. This girl can’t have been much older than five but stole everyone’s hearts.

We took the route close the town hall which took us down to St Albert’s bridge for some iconic photos. Usually we are limited to staying on the pavement but unusually the traffic seemed to vanish so Madi and Jovie rushed out onto the road for some pics. A rare occurence!
