Wedding Photography at Chelsea Old Town Hall

It was a total pleasure to be booked by Charlotte and Ben for their wedding photography at Chelsea Old Town Hall. This small micro wedding was arranged a month ahead of their wedding in France. To get the legalities out of the way, they chose to say their vows in front of close family. After taking photos on the iconic Chelsea Old Town Hall steps with best confetti on the market we went for a walkabout.

Couple walkabout

There are numerous great walks around the Kings Road which offer a variety of spots for some couple portraits. In keeping with my style, I don’t like to make these sessions too awkward or posed. So with a few prompts here and there we go for a walk and with chat and movement encouraged, it results a great set of images.

Kings Road

This is such a great place for photos. Plus great practice for me walking backwards along a busy London streets. From here you can head off south towards the river past the houses of the rich and famous. The iconic Albert bridge awaits for some classic London shots before heading back up towards the town hall.

If you want to add more of a church and greenery look to your photos then head to St Luke’s church and gardens. Just minutes from the town hall, it’s a beautiful church and grounds and adds depth and variety to your final gallery.

Hattrick
