Wilderness Woods wedding photography
I can highly recommend this venue if you’re looking for woodland wedding. Set in 60 acres of stunning Sussex woodland, this is the place to be if you want to legally marry in nature. Wilderness Woods wedding photography was a dream for me. Combining my love of nature with observing people at their happiness meant for a wonderful day ‘at work’.
Meg and Julia started their day getting ready in the stunning treehouse cabins (also the perfect lodgings for you to stay in at the end of your day). A short walk took them to the ‘Meeting House’ where they legally married in front of close friends and family. Afterwards a largely contingent of friends all joined them right in the heart of the woods sitting on hay bales while a friend conducted a informal personalised ceremony.
Reception
Aptly named the Hub, this is where you will eat, dance, sit around fire-bowls and watch any youngsters at your wedding playing in the mud kitchen and on play equipment. There’s also a designated area for a marquee where at this wedding a wonderful ceilidh was held. It can be as bepsoke as you want and it doesn’t take much to create a magical atmosphere. You might even be lucky and catch a beautiful sunset amongst the trees. The team here are also wonderful and will go above and beyond to make your day special.
