Wedding photography at Thornbridge Hall

Wedding photography at Thornbridge Hall is a treat for any photographer. Grand in scale but personal enough to create a unique and intimate atmosphere, this venue is perfect for a Peak District wedding. Tom and Claire gathered friends and family from all over the country and abroad to join them in their celebration. Having met during covid, this couple are all about the outdoors and walking so it was a perfect location and setting for them.

Thornbridge Hall

Thornbridge Hall is a Grade II listed stately home situated in the rolling hills of the Peak District. Set in 100 acres of stunning parkland, it is the family residence and private home of Jim and Emma Harrison. The Hall and its 14 acres of formal gardens have been restored and is now recognised as one of the most luxury wedding and events venues in the country.

Ceremonies

Claire and Tom chose to get married in the local Eyam Parish Church (St Lawrence’s Church) in the village their parents live. It was a lovely personalised ceremony overseen by a family friend. However, there are many options for where you can get married at Thornbridge Hall. They are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in the majestic Great Hall, the elegant music room, and the South Lawn Temple in the formal gardens. All these options are perfect for your wedding whatever time of year.

Reception

The wedding reception takes place in the Carriage House. As you can see from the photos below it’s a spectacular space to have your meal, speeches and dancing all under one roof. The food is an absolute highlight at this venue too. I can vouch for that. One of my best ever wedding supplier meals! Thank you Claire and Tom for having me on board. It was a fantastic celebration!
