Mile End Art Pavilion wedding photography
A new London venue for me and it was really great to photography here. The Art Pavilion is a great mix of urban and nature. A huge glass gallery space overlooking water which you can make your own. Helen and Josh live in this part of London and wanted a laid-back bespoke day which reflection their personalities. I was super chuffed they chose me for their Mile End Art Pavilion wedding photography.
Ceremony
Having got ready a close by hotel, Helen arrived with her sister who walked into the Art Pavilion ahead of her. Josh and Helen came together for their heartfelt ceremony. The comedy moment of proceedings was seeing two geese waddle passed the huge glass windows. The cheery celebrant led them through their vows before guests enjoyed time in the gardens.
Reception, dinner and golden hour
Helen and Josh used the wonderful Flutter Darlings to provide, as always, the most epic confetti. A long tunnel of guests provided a wonderful confetti show ending in canons at the end.
Guests enjoyed hanging out in the gardens with prosecco and canopies before heading in for dinner. As it was a balmy London evening we snuck out for a few couple portraits in the glorious golden hour. But the soul of this wedding was to capture documentary style images of Helen and Josh and their guests. And it was a total pleasure to do so.
