I do love a laid back London pub wedding. They are always fun, relaxed and the vibe just oozes chilled-ness which is both reflected in the couple and their guests. Anna and Jamie brought class and character to their low key but special day. And they didn’t have to take out a second mortgage! Anna got ready in a hotel close by to the town hall. It meant she could walk side by side with her father and bridesmaids to the venue. The exchange of vows and rings was witnessed in front of a small group of friends before the mandatory throwing of confetti outside the town hall. It was then a short walk to the reception. Not having to use cars is always nice at a wedding!

autumnal light and colours for the laid back vibe

Autumn light is one of my favourite. In fact I wouldn’t mind if I could pack most of my weddings into these months where the light is soft and flattering. We took a stroll through a park for some couple portraits before arriving at the Londesborough pub for the reception. The personal touches and colour scheme were stunning. Anna and Jamie are avid readers so they had the wonderful idea of a book gift for every guest at their wedding. Their friends also made all the wedding cakes! It was clear from the start of the day this couple were going to have a fun stress free wedding surrounded by those close to them.
