I met Rhea and Will at the National Wedding Show earlier in the year and was really chuffed they booked me for their special day. Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photography is a total delight. Not only are you in one of London’s most picturesque boroughs, but the facade of this town hall is stunning. Adorned with flowers (being Chelsea of course) it brings weddings to life at this venue.

Rhea is from the Philippines and she and Will are having a wedding celebration over there in November. However, they wanted to do the legals here for simplicity. Family and friends flew over for the special occasion to join this thoroughly genuine and lovely couple say they’re I dos.

Getting ready

Rhea chose to book a room at the Sloane Square Hotel to get ready. Only 15 minutes from Chelsea Old Town Hall it’s the perfect getting ready spot. It was an oasis of calm with just Rhea, her mum, sister in law and the lovely Annie doing hair and make up. Once everyone was ready we headed off in a black cab to the town hall.

Chelsea walkabout

After the ceremony we had some couple and family photos on the gorgeous steps at the town hall. Rhea, Will and I then went on a short walk down to the Albert Bridge for some couple portraits. It’s hard to find an unpicturesque street in Chelsea so it was a pleasant walk down to the river to say the least. We walked past Bob Marley’s old house (who knew!) and couldn’t resist stopping at Chelsea’s famous Love door. A bright pink front door which provides a great back drop for some pics (if spotted by the owner he will politely request for donations towards Breast Cancer Care). From there it was a few minutes down to the Albert Bridge. One of London’s finest. Once finished here we walked back to the main road where Rhea and Will met their family and friends for lunch at Stanley’s. A fab micro wedding with the loveliest of people. Congratulations again! x
